Your Gateway to the Mobile-Tensaw Delta, 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center is open seven days a week with free admission. An 81-acre educational facility owned and operated by Alabama State Lands, 5 Rivers includes:
- The Cypress Gift Shop and Welcome Center
- A 4,000-square-foot Apalachee Exhibit Hall with artwork, historic and educational exhibits, and live animals
- A grand reception hall with meeting space, exhibit area, a kitchen facility and boat dock
- A 90-seat surround sound Tensaw Theater
- The Little Bateau Learning Center with live animals and educational exhibits
- A 4,000-square-foot modular classroom/conference facility
- Office space for the State Lands Division, Coastal Section
- Walking trails, picnic pavilions and educational kiosks
- A state-of-the-art, free canoe and kayak launch
- Ecotours aboard a pontoon boat, with canoe and kayak rentals available
- Floating and land-based canoe and kayak campsites throughout the Delta
- Canoe and Kayak “chalet” rentals available in the Lower Delta
