Children enjoy the new Sara Thompson Kids Park in Foley. The $1.2-million facility replaces an older wooden playground that was demolished. Read more
Foley improving veterans tributes
The city of Foley plans improvements at the Veterans Memorial on South Alston Street. Additions will include a taller flagpole at the site and two artillery pieces to be placed near the memorial. Read more
Replica of 1927 hotel joins Foley railroad display
A replica of the 1927 Foley Hotel building will be added to Foley's model railroad display. The model was built by members of the Caboose Club, volunteers who run the display. Read more
Refurbished 1925 Foley building opens as chamber offices
The former Foley Masonic Lodge building has become the new offices of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce. The city of Foley donated the building to the chamber after the organization had to move out of its former offices. Read more
