Turtle Talks presented by Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism

If you've ever had questions about sea turtles and what they do, when they hatch and how Gulf Shores & Orange Beach strives to keep them safe join the experts from the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge as they speak all things turtle. 

Who nests on our white-sand beaches? When do they hatch? Discover answers to these questions and more during our free Turtle Talk series at the Gulf Shores Welcome Center (3459 Gulf Shores Pkwy).  They will share their passion and knowledge about these amazing creatures and you will leave with an understanding of how you can be a nature steward.

Events include an engaging 20-minute presentation and question and answer session. Kids can have the picture taken with our mascot, Caretta the Turtle, so be sure to bring your camera for this memory-filled family photo.
