Celebrate Independence Day with at the the annual Pepsi Beach Ball Drop a few days early on Thursday, July 1!
You’ll want to make sure you are at the center of the action when 5,000 beach balls fall from the sky!
There will be dozens of family friendly activities onsite including a surf simulator, bouncy house, bubble zone, face painting, camel rides, and appearances from Uncle Sam, Lady Liberty, special characters, a balloon artist and more! DJ Silky will be spinning some feel-good tunes throughout the evening while handing out American flags and red, white and blue glow items to show some love for the U.S.A.
During the actual drop, there will be a designated area for kiddos ages 5 and under to safely grab beach balls. Be sure to check your balls for a letter and stop by The Wharf tent, because you might be a lucky winner of some prizes from Pepsi!
Icing on the cake — fireworks! The pops of color to end the night are brought to you by Beachball Properties and the grand fireworks show will blast off at 8:45 pm, then stick around to see the SPECTRA Laser Light Experience to follow.
If you can’t make it, catch it LIVE on WKRG News 5 to see the beach balls fall!
