The Flora-Bama, known as a world-famous beach bar, hosts an annual Bikini Contest along with several others throughout the year, including Friday and Saturday of Mullet Toss, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Weekend, and the finale on Labor Day Weekend.
On each holiday, contestants can compete to become a top finalist. The top three winners from each contest qualify for the Labor Day Bikini Contest Finale, where they have a chance to win a $5,000 grand prize.
The bar also hosts a Hot Body Contest for men on Mullet Toss weekend (Friday and Saturday) and on July 4th weekend (Saturday).
Contestants can register by showing up on the day of the contest at the registration table in front of the Tent Stage between 12 pm and 2 pm. All contestants must be signed up and on site by 2 pm to compete. Participants must be 21 or older and bring a valid ID. All winners are required to complete a W9 to receive prize money.
