Coast Guard Recognition of Civil Air Patrol Life Saving Rescue Efforts

Guard Sector Mobile Command Center Chief, Lieutenant Commander Justin Daniel, will present a Certificate of Merit to two Civil Air Patrol Pilots for their efforts assisting the rescue of a man and his 10 year-old niece. The two were rescued after their vessel capsized during inclement weather near Cat Island, Mississippi this past fall.
