This local history museum tells the stories of our coastal town, its people, their lives and their livelihood. You can see a variety of permanent exhibits and special exhibits. Fly through the eye of a hurricane with “Hurricane Hunters”. Seasonal events and films as well as adult and youth programs are offered throughout the year. The museum’s home is a beach cottage that dates to before World War II and was originally located on West Beach. Admission is free.
