Dad's Day Out

Head to OWA June 15 & 16 to celebrate Dad with Dad’s Day Out with free activities, movie night, and more, perfect for bringing the whole family together! Grab lunch in Downtown OWA restaurants before some free activities including Dad Olympics, Lawn Games, & OWA Live music on the Island! PLUS, there will be a Dive-In Movie on Sunday beginning at 6pm at Big Water Bay inside Tropic Falls featuring Finding Nemo (2003)*.

Schedule of Events:

Saturday, June 15th

• 12-8:30pm – Olympic Ring Photo Op – Photo op in Downtown OWA.
• 12-6pm – “Ties for Tots” Kids Activity – Create a custom tie for dad in Tropic Falls at Southern Express Fountain.*
• 12-6pm – “Hands Down” Kids Activity – Create a “Hands Down” Handprint craft for dad in Downtown OWA.
• 12-8:30pm – Lawn Games – OWA Island
• 2-6pm – Dad Olympics

• 2pm – Beach Off: Dads test their surfing skills on Coastal Curl.*
• 2:30pm – Noodle Javelin: Toss foam pool noodles in Big Water Bay aiming targets resembling Javelins.*
• 3pm – Water Balloon Volleyball: Volley water balloons over the net while trying to burst the opposing team’s side at Tiki Treats in Tropic Falls.*
• 3:30pm – Fill The Bucket: Race to sock up water with a sponge and fill the other side within a time limit by Baja Grill.*
• 4pm – Tug of War: Pull opposite end of the rope to drag opponents across the line on the Island.
• 4:30pm – Tricycle Race: Pedal a tricycle along a course to be the first across the finish line in Downtown OWA fountain.
• 5pm – Dad Joke Showdown: Participants take turns delivering pun-filled, groan-inducing jokes in a lighthearted showdown of wit and humor at the Downtown Splashpad.
• 6pm – Kahoot! & Awards Ceremony: Located in The Bohemian an Event Venue in Downtown OWA

• 4:30- 6:30pm – OWA Live: Stormfolk on OWA Island
• 6:30-8:30pm – OWA Live: Ben Loftin & The Family on OWA Island
