Saltwater & Deep sea charter fishing in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach
Home to one of the Gulf Coast’s largest charter fishing fleets, dozens of marinas, and hundreds of fishing vessels, our captains are ready to guide you on your voyage.
Things you need to decide before choosing a charter:
Would you prefer inshore or offshore fishing?
Do you want to rent the full boat or take part in a walk-on (or shared expense) excursion?
How long do you want to fish? Offerings include 4-, 6-, 8-hour, or overnight trips!
Some charters provide air conditioners, bathrooms, and indoor seating areas, while some do not. If these are essential to your trip, be sure to check with your charter!
What will be provided?
Bait, tackle, and fishing licenses are provided.
Many charters also provide fish cleaning services. This may be included in the price of your charter, but is occasionally a separate fee.
What do I bring on a chartered fishing trip?
Cooler of snacks and drinks (some do not allow alcoholic beverages, so be sure to check before you pack up your cooler)
Sunscreen and other sun protection like sunglasses and a hat
Towel to wipe your hands
If you’re prone to seasickness, bring any medication you require
Tips for the trip:
- Wear nonslip shoes.
- Don’t use spray-on sunscreen (it makes the deck slippery).
- Make sure to bring lots of water to stay hydrated.
- You’re probably going to catch fish that you can’t keep (due to Federal Regulations like seasons and limits).
- Don’t forget to tip your mate or deckhand!
