More than a hundred people turned out for the official public opening of the new Orange Beach Shooting Complex on Thursday, August 21st.
At present, the Shooting Complex at 23172 Russian Road consists of a Skeet and Trap facility with five fields. Future plans include a rifle range. A pistol range, managed by the Orange Beach Police Department, is not part of the complex but is open to the public every other Saturday. Visit the OBPD page on the City Website to see the schedule.
Orange Beach High School Shooting Team Coach Tim Harry said it best during the opening ceremony, "Build it and they will come." The Shooting Complex is now open to the public with the ability to host tournaments.
