The Loxley Municipal Park is the city’s largest recreational area and the site of the annual Strawberry Festival. The heart of the park is a scenic walking trail that winds ½ mile over picturesque bridges, near shady benches, and among hundreds of beautiful southern pines. An enclosed children’s playground provides a place to play, with covered pavilions and clean restrooms keeping you cool and comfortable all day. The park’s most recent addition is an 18-hole Disc Golf Course that offers a unique mix of challenges and charm as it flows through the trees and around the walking path.
