La Place USA Furniture was founded in 1998 by Maria and Hendrik Engel. Both from Europe, they decided to mesh their backgrounds. Maria, from rural Netherlands, and Hendrik, from Amsterdam, worked together to combine chic farmhouse and slick modern tastes to create our timeless pieces. They pursued the American dream and left everything behind for small town: Fairhope, Alabama. In the beginning, they started with tent sales and later proceeded to open a store in Fairhope and Destin.
Maria and Hendrik began traveling yearly to Indonesia in order to find the best products for their customers. They personally picked every single piece of furniture that we sell with every unique lifestyle in mind. Our products are solid teak, handmade, and made to last year after year. We proudly provide indoor and outdoor furniture as well as statement accessories for any budget.

At La Place, you can find everything you need to furnish your home inside and out including teak patio dining furniture, lounge chairs, coffee tables, dining tables, media centers, buffets, cabinets and much more.
You can shop online and pick your items up at our Foley Warehouse or have them shipped/delivered to your home.
