Rev your engines for an awesome family adventure at the Foley Public Library! Big Rigs at the Library: A Touch-a-Truck Event returns for its second year, bringing heavy equipment, emergency vehicles and even a helicopter right to the heart of Foley.
Kids of all ages can climb aboard and explore the massive machines that keep Foley running! In partnership with the Foley Street Department, visitors will get up-close access to an impressive lineup including tractors, backhoes, trackhoes, bucket trucks and more. Live demonstrations throughout the morning will show these powerful machines in action.
The excitement doesn't stop there! Families can check out vehicles from the Foley Police Department and Foley Fire Department, and this year's special addition—a real helicopter!
Between all the big rig exploring, little ones can enjoy yard games and play in a giant sand pile. A one-man band will provide live entertainment, while a local coffee truck and Kona Ice will be on hand to keep everyone refreshed.
This free, family-friendly community event is perfect for future firefighters, construction workers, pilots and anyone who loves big vehicles!
