Flora-Bama's ode to Woodstock - join us for Sandstock! Wear your favorite hippie attire on Saturday, August 9th, as the Flora-Bama goes back in time!
Festivities are all day with live music from the 60's, themed food, and decor.
What is Sandstock?
A peace sign, VW beach buses, tie-dye shirts and the colored lenses on the sunglasses. These were just some of the items that defined a special period in history. It is a lifestyle that the famous Flora-Bama celebrates each year at their Sandstock party.
How did Sandstock begin?
The party began by honoring the anniversary of Woodstock, which took place more than 50 years ago. Pat McClellan, one of the Flora-Bama partners, started the annual party and commented on it's growth. McClellan stated "seeing people of all ages dress and enjoy the music from those days is great."
