Get ready to laissez les bons temps rouler this Mardi Gras season as The Wharf in Orange Beach brings back the much-anticipated MoonPies on Main event on Monday, March 3rd. This family-friendly celebration will light up Main Street with dazzling floats, live entertainment, and plenty of MoonPies! Before the main parade rolls, families can enjoy the Kid and Pet Parade, a delightful prelude where little ones and their furry friends get to strut their stuff in festive Mardi Gras attire. Beginning at 4 pm, this charming procession invites children and pets to showcase their most creative costumes as they parade down Main Street, spreading smiles and excitement. The Float Parade kicks off at 6 pm, featuring a colorful procession of festive floats, costumed performers, and local krewes, all throwing out crowd-favorite MoonPies, beads, and trinkets to revelers of all ages. Following the parade, guests can continue the celebration with our SPECTRA Laser Light Experience, kid-friendly activities, and a vibrant atmosphere throughout The Wharf. “The MoonPies on Main parade has become a cherished tradition here at The Wharf,” said Mary Kate Lantrip, Public Relations and Social Media Manager. “It’s a night where families, friends and visitors can come together to experience the magic of Mardi Gras in a safe, fun and welcoming environment.” Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to grab the best viewing spots along Main Street and enjoy the many dining, shopping, and entertainment options The Wharf has to offer.
