The L.O.L. Festival is a lively, family-friendly three-day celebration that brings the City of Gulf Shores and the Gulf Coast together for a weekend of music, food and local pride.
Held at Waterway Village in Gulf Shores, Alabama, the festival features talented local musicians across multiple genres, including folk, Americana, country, southern rock, blues, blues rock, alternative, funk, indie, progressive rock and experimental sound blends. Scheduled performances take place throughout the weekend, creating an atmosphere where families can enjoy music together.
The festival’s food truck area showcases a variety of dishes crafted by local chefs and family-owned vendors. Each truck brings its own personality and hometown flavor. Food is prepared by local entrepreneurs who put pride and passion into every plate, offering more than just a meal—it is a taste of the community that brings people together over flavors reflecting the town’s creativity and culture.
Local businesses set up booths to share products and services and connect with the community. Guests can stroll through displays, meet business owners and discover unique goods and helpful services. Sea Glass Initiative Inc., a local nonprofit social service agency, plays a central role by assisting with the bike valet and accepting donations to help unhoused residents of Baldwin County, Alabama. The organization’s mission of uniting the community through compassion to end and prevent homelessness is supported by the festival, and donations are welcomed even from those who do not use the bike valet.
The festival concludes on Sunday, April 12, with a headline performance by a well-known local band and Best of Baldwin 2026 winner, The Destinations, representing the best of 70s and southern rock n’ roll.
