The City of Gulf Shores is excited to announce the Haunted Hustle 5K coming back to Gulf Place Town Green & Public Beach, located at 101 Gulf Shores Parkway. Locals and visitors are invited to wear their best Halloween costumes and participate in this horrifyingly fun event. This event will feature a 5K walk/run, a fun run, a Witches on Wheels bike parade, and a live DJ on stage. All proceeds for this event will go to the Dolphin Foundation for Education and Arts, who will also be selling beer/wine and refreshments on-site.
Witches on Wheels Bike Parade
The Witches on Wheels bicycle ride begins at 6 p.m. to kick off the evening. Witches and Warlocks are invited to jump on their brooms (bicycles will suffice) and parade on W. Beach Blvd and the Town Green throwing beads and candy to bystanders. Approximate distance is 1.25 miles. Early registration cost to participate in Witches on Wheels is $20 through September 26. Beginning September 27, the registration fee will increase to $25, and if you decide to sign up on race day registration cost will be $30. All registered participants will receive an event t-shirt and goodie bag.
Haunted Hustle 5K Walk/Run
The Haunted Hustle 5K will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Ghosts and monsters of all sorts are invited to enjoy an evening run on our USATF certified course. The certification number for this course is AL18053JE. The 5K course will begin and end in front of Gulf Place Town Green. The cost to participate in the Haunted Hustle 5K early registration is $30 until September 26. The cost to participate will increase on September 27 to $35, and race day registration will increase to $40. All registered participants will receive an event t-shirt and goodie bag. All early registrants are guaranteed their requested shirt size.
Fun Run
The Fun Run will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Non-competitive goblins this is the course for you. Join us on a fun out-and-back route that is approximately 1 mile. All participants will receive a finishers medal, goodie bag, and event t-shirt. Early registration cost to participate is $20 through September .Beginning September 27, the registration fee will increase to $25, and if you decide to sign up on race day, registration cost will be $30.
