It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right? Here at Coast 360 we’re on island time, which means you can always find a cold and refreshing cocktail to beat the heat. Not to mention—our local watering holes are always serving killer views that pair well with a frosty drink.
Sip 1: The Gulf
The Gulf in Orange Beach is a chic seaside setting ideal for relaxing sips. While you’re here, we recommend ordering the Malibu Coconut Rum Mojito or their specialty Surf’s Up cocktail. Both are fruity, fresh and full of quality liquor for a beachy buzz. Sit back and relax to the sound of the waves crashing and soak up the stellar ocean view.
Sip 2: Pink Pony Pub
The Pink Pony Pub is adored by both tourists and locals alike, thanks to their convenient location and classic drink menu. Only steps away from the sea, guests can indulge in a sweet Strawberry Beach Ball, a premium 1800 Silver Agave Margarita or try the legendary Seven Headed Dragon—a Pink Pony specialty and secret recipe! Are you brave enough to try all three? We sure are! Save us a seat on the patio please.
Sip 3: Flora-Bama Yacht Club
How could we possibly discuss cocktails without mentioning the yacht club? Simple answer—we can’t. Their World Famous Bushwacker is a must-mention item we highly suggest you try for yourself. For our friends who enjoy a more savory way to sip—check out the On the Line Signature Bloody Mary. In the mood for a tangy treat? The Watermelon Crawl is just the thing to quench your thirst. No matter which delightful drink you order, savor it while taking in the view of Old River and listening to live music!
Sip 4: The Hangout
The Hangout is a great place to go for the kiddos to play and the adults to enjoy an ice cold drink. If you’ve never been before, start by ordering their world-famous Shark Attack—a staple of the Hangout. To really get in the vacation spirit, try the Blood Orange Ploma or keep it classic with a frozen Piña-Colada to sip while you bask in the ocean view. With multiple bars on site, parents are able to stay as close (or as far) away from the kids as needed while never being more than a few steps from specialty concoctions.
Sip 5: Zeke’s Restaurant
Zeke’s Restaurant is a top tier location for getting a little tipsy. Why? The outdoor seating and view of the marina provide the perfect atmosphere for a little well-deserved R&R. Sip to the sunset with a Rip Tide in hand, a Fresh Berry Mojito on the way and an Espresso Martini to finish off the night. You can thank us later!
