Oyster Casserole

1 quart oysters (30-40 drained)

2 sleeves of saltine crackers (crushed)

¼ cup chopped green onions

¼ cup fresh parsley

2 tablespoons lemon juice

Salt and pepper

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

¼ cup butter

1 cup cream or ½ and ½

Dash of Tabasco

 

Start with crackers (crushed), spread ½ over greased casserole. Layer ½ oysters, ½ onions, ½ parsley, ½ lemon juice, salt, pepper, ½ Worcestershire, dot with ½ butter, pour ½ of cream over top and repeat. Finish with crackers, then cream and add a dash of Tabasco, dust with paprika.

 

Bake 30 minutes @ 400 degrees.
