Locals Love Fall at LuLu’s

With Labor Day on the horizon, we locals are starting to get excited. Why? Because it means our time to return to LuLu’s is near.

Now don’t get me wrong. During the summer months, we love to see the big crowds at LuLu’s. We understand why they are willing to wait in line for a couple of hours to enjoy waterfront dining on the ICW (that’s the Intracoastal Waterway). We know their thrill of catching a glimpse of Lucy Buffett, and maybe, just maybe getting her to sign her newest cookbook. Heck, we’ve even been known to bring our out of town guests here and be a tourist too!

But for us, fall is the ideal time to head to LuLu’s. The slower pace means we don’t have to wait in line long. The friendly servers can linger at our tables a little longer and make us feel truly welcome. And then of course, there’s the food!

We’ve been waiting all summer to dive in to a towering Cheeseburger in Paradise, the Crazy Sista version. We’ve been thinking about those amazing nachos and the fried green tomatoes. And now that swimsuit season is ending, we’re willing to indulge in that divine Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding.

So if you come down for a fall visit, stop by LuLu’s and hang out with the locals.
