Draped in Civil War sentiment, Mobile  is also home to the USS ALABAMA battleship and the USS Drum submarine, allowing history buffs a special flightof fancy while teaching others a lesson or two at Battleship Memorial Park along Mobile Bay.Families can also get lost among the wonders of the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center, South Alabama’s most-visited attraction.  The museum boasts more than a hundred interactive exhibits, and don’t forget to check out a show in the center’s IMAX theater.
