Check out the Big Snowbird Welcome Event in Foley, Jan. 10

“A Walk through Foley” on Jan. 10 will be a wonderful welcome event for our winter visitors. It will include a morning reception at the Foley Civic Center, and an afternoon to socialize, play blackout bingo and check out all kinds of neat stuff presented by area businesses.

 

The Foley Civic Center is at 407 E. Laurel Ave. The event kicks off at 9am with coffee and donuts and a grab bag that includes discount coupons from Foley and South Baldwin Chamber businesses.

 

“This reception will be a special ‘welcome’, with an invitation to spend time dining, shopping and exploring Foley,” according to LaDonna Hinesley, City of Foley marketing director.

 

During the afternoon attendees will have an opportunity to play Foley blackout bingo, where they visit designated businesses and get their “Bingo” card stamped, and become eligible for a drawing to win a Kindle.
